Fuel Companies Announced Mixed Oil Price Adjustments on Tuesday (May 27, 2025)
OIL PRICE UPDATE – Various fuel companies in the Philippines are set to implement mixed oil price adjustments this week.
Filipino motorists will see mixed fuel price adjustments starting Tuesday (May 27, 2025). Several oil companies are set to implement new rates, with gasoline prices increasing slightly while diesel and kerosene prices are going down.
For two consecutive weeks, gasoline prices will increase by P0.10 per liter, diesel will go up by P0.20 per lite and kerosene will go down by P0.40 per liter.

Major fuel providers like Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, and Cleanfuel have confirmed these changes. While Shell, Seaoil, and Petro Gazz will adjust prices by 6:00 a.m., Cleanfuel will implement its new rates at 8:01 a.m.
Kerosene prices will only change at stations that actually sell it, as not all brands carry it.
These adjustments come after a sharp increase in fuel prices last week, where gasoline and kerosene rose by P1.20 per liter and diesel by P1.70 per liter.

According to the Department of Energy, the current pricing trend is influenced by several global developments. These include progress in negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, improved trade relations between the U.S. and China, expanded oil storage in Iran, and growing optimism about global fuel demand.
As of this writing, other fuel firms have yet to announce whether they’ll follow with similar adjustments. For drivers and commuters, it’s another week of keeping an eye on pump prices and planning fuel expenses accordingly.
