Yanna Motovlog Reacts To Charges From LTO

Here’s the statement of Yanna Motovlog to the sanctions she will be facing.

YANNA MOTOVLOG – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued its decision, and here’s the statement of the involved personality.

Motovlogger Yanna Aguinaldo, also known as “Yanna Motovlog,” previously went viral after being involved in a road rage incident in Zambales. She shared what happened online, and people pointed out her fault in the situation, which led to her receiving intense bashing.

Yanna apologized to the driver and to the riding community after the video went viral. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) assessed what happened. The agency then requested Yanna to surrender her driver’s license and bring her motorcycle to the next scheduled hearing.

She skipped the hearing and did not surrender the motorcycle she used in the video, as it was not hers, but she surrendered her license.

In a previous article, the LTO found her guilty of two offenses. She was charged with Reckless Driving (Section 48 of Republic Act (RA) No. 4136 or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code), operating a motor vehicle without side mirrors, and using a motorcycle without an attached plate number (Section 18 of RA 4316).

She was fined Php 5,000.00 for using a motorcycle without side mirrors and Php 2,000.00 for reckless driving. Her license is also suspended until she surrenders the motorcycle.

Recently, she released a statement, and according to her, she accepts the decision even though they have no substantial evidence to prove that she is at fault. She also appealed for further clarification regarding law enforcement, especially in a trail setting.

And if there’s one silver lining in the situation, for her, it would have to be about LTO showing they pay attention.

She added in her statement:

I only hope this same level of scrutiny is directed toward more pressing, long- standing issues that truly compromise public safety on a daily basis, such as:

  • Unregulated, overloaded trucks on provincial highways
  • Illegally parked vehicles blocking emergency lanes
  • Lack of pedestrian infrastructure in high-risk zones
  • Unmarked road hazards like open manholes and broken barriers
  • Motorists without licenses or proper training who continue to operate freely
