Manila Mayor-Elect Isko Moreno Speaks on Rumored “Feud” with Naga Mayor-Elect Leni Robredo
ISKO MORENO – The Manila Mayor-elect denied that he has a “feud” with former Vice President Leni Robredo saying he even voted for her allies, Senator-elect Bam Aquino.
Former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo who won mayor in Naga City was among the happiest for senator-elect Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan. She was elated with the “come-from-behind win” of the her allies whom she campaigned for in the 2025 Senatorial Race.

Aquino and Pangilinan ranked first and second in Naga, the bailiwick of Robredo, as well as in several provinces in the Visayas region. The two (2) returning senators who experienced a series of defeat in the previous elections ranked 2nd and 5th in the results of the 2025 Senatorial Elections, respectively.
Former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo who makes the record of being the first female mayor of Naga joined the Bam-Kiko campaign sorties. Several Filipino showbiz celebrities as well as the youth campaigned fervently for the two (2) senatorial bets.

In Manila, former Mayor Isko Moreno managed to make a return in the local government. He was the mayor of the capital city before he decided to run for the presidential race in 2022. Both he and former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo lost in the said race with now-Pres. Bongbong Marcos.

Recently, speaking to ANC, Manila Mayor-elect Isko Moreno claimed that he never fought with former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. The returning Mayor of Manila also claimed that he even voted for Robredo’s allies, Senator-elect Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan.
“Hindi ko inaway si Leni Robredo. With all honesty, hindi ko siya inaway,” Moreno said.
According to Mayor Isko, he and former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo have yet to see each other after the elections but he has allegedly helped some of the members of her group. He also revealed that he voted for Robredo’s ally, Senator-elect Bam Aquino.
“Wala naman akong masyadong pait sa buhay. ‘Pag nadapa ako, nadapa ako, learn my lesson,” he said.
Moreno further said that if people are willing to invite for a reconciliation, he’s okay with it. During the interview, he claimed that he even voted for the people who have hurt him so much as it is about serving the people.
Previously, Manila Mayor-elect Isko Moreno claimed that there will be no national run for him in the 2028 Elections.
