Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto had this answer when asked about the status of his love life and his inspiration.
Mayor Vico is one of the most popular public servants in the Philippines and not just in Pasig. He is admired for what he has been doing for his constituents.
Even people from outside Pasig City would share their admiration for him on social media. Previously, he was asked about people who are not residents of Pasig who wanted to transfer to their city.
The Mayor jokingly said that there is no vacancy in their city anymore. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Mayor Vico Sotto was asked about his love life.
“Kailan ka raw mag-aasawa?” veteran Kapuso broadcaster Arnold Clavio asked the public servant. Then, the broadcaster followed-up, “Dudugtungan ko ‘yan, ‘yung puso mo, kamusta?”
Mayor Vico said that his heart was okay and that whatever was meant for him would just come. Right now, he said that he is focused on his work. When asked to say his message to the one who inspires him now, the Mayor said that the people are his inspiration.
Netizens reacted to Mayor Vico’s answer regarding his love life. A netizen said that the right person for the public servant will just come at the right time while another one said that it is hard to make the Mayor admit anything about the status of his heart.
In an interview last year, Mayor Vico Sotto’s mother veteran actress Coney Reyes was asked about her son’s love life. Coney stressed that she never intervened with Mayor Vico’s love life. She also shared that before, she would always ask her son if he already has a girlfriend but eventually, she stopped doing that.
