Carla Abellana was asked about the status of her heart
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana said that she is open to finding new love again but certainly, she has some things to consider.
Carla’s love life was quite a hot topic on social media and showbiz circles. Her breakup with actor Tom Rodriguez just a few months after their wedding created a loud buzz.
Years after that, Carla remained single. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the actress said that she is open to entertaining a new love if it comes.
“BUKAS ang puso ko now, bukas sa maraming bagay,” Carla Abellana shared. She also shared that she has some suitors right now but she is now being more cautious and it is because of her past experience.
When asked what she is looking for in a future partner, the actress highlighted the qualities such as having “integrity, honesty, and respect.”
In order to know if the guy has these qualities, Carla said that she learned from her experience and she definitely will know the signs. Her mom Rea, who was with her during the interview said that her daughter already knows a red flag and what to avoid.
The actress said that it is not always about how long a relationship is going on but the most important thing is knowing that person deeply.
When asked if she is dating right now, her answer was, “Ahhh, hmmm,” but her mom was nodding and saying “yes.” Then, the actress explained, “Hindi naman po dating or typical dating, lagi ko sinasabi open naman po ako.”
When Carla’s mom was asked what advice she could give to her daughter, Mommy Rea said that it was really hard to say because the actress knew her ex-husband for seven years and they thought that it was already a long-lasting one but shockingly, the separation happened.
“Dati kasi sabi ko, ‘oh you just follow your heart’ and she did that and follow your thoughts and she also did that and yet she was fooled. Ang hirap, eh, so ano pang advice ang maibibigay ko sa kanya?” Carla’s mom said.
Mommy Rea added that right now, Carla needs to read the sign and understand if something is not right. She added that her daughter just ignored the red flags.
