Luis Manzano apparently has moved on from his unsuccessful political stint
Kapamilya host Luis Manzano has this question to his social media followers after his election loss.
Luis is among the many celebrities who became newbies in the political scene in the Philippines. For more than two decades in the Philippine entertainment industry, Luis has done various showbiz stints already. However, officially this year, it is his first time attempting to be a public servant.
He decided to run for vice governor in Batangas, the running mate of his mother Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos who won a governor. However, Luis was defeated by his opponent. Amid his loss, Luis received support from his wife actress Jessy Mendiola who wrote a heartfelt message for him.
After his unsuccessful stint in the world of politics, Luis Manzano has this question posted on his social media page. “Ano mas trip ninyo bumalik? Rainbow Rumble, Deal or No Deal, or Minute To Win It?” he wrote.
Luis has hosted these three Kapamilya game shows in the past. Rainbow Rumble is an original Kapamilya show that premiered in July last year and aired until March of this year.
The two other game shows were ABS-CBN’s franchises from international shows with the same names.
In the comment section of his Instagram post, Jessy said that she wants the show Rainbow Rumble. Some of his fellow celebrities also shared their choices, like actor-director John Prats who said that he wants the three shows to return.
Meanwhile, in his social media post following his unsuccessful political stint, Luis thanked his fellow Batangueños. He appreciated every smile and hug he received every time they went around the province. Apparently, he is fully closing his doors to politics as he said, “At kahit tapos na ang eleksyon, ito ay umpisa pa lamang ng matagal pa nating pagsasamahan.”
