2 Drunk Cops Arrested for Causing Scene at Quezon City Bar
Two drunk cops were facing possible dismissal for causing trouble at a bar along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
On Wednesday morning (May 15, 2025), two police officers assigned to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) are now in hot water after causing a scene inside a bar in the area.
According to reports, the two officers, holding the ranks of Patrolman and Corporal, are assigned to the Warrant Section of the Holy Spirit Police Station. That morning, they entered the bar already under the influence of alcohol.

Despite being visibly drunk, they ordered more bottles of beer. After about an hour, their behavior turned disruptive. The two began throwing ice cubes at waiters and other customers inside the bar.
Their actions created panic and discomfort among the people there. The bar manager quickly contacted the police for help.
Officers from another unit arrived and immediately arrested the two. They are now under restrictive custody while facing both criminal and administrative charges. The charges include alarms and scandals, as well as malicious mischief, which were offenses that displays disorderly conduct and damaging behavior in a public place.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Police Major General Anthony Aberin has already ordered the filing of charges and is closely monitoring the case. Depending on the investigation’s outcome, the two may face suspension or even dismissal from the service.
