AVON PHILIPPINES – A popular cosmetic company is now searching for a breadwinner who cried after receiving her mom’s simple gift.
Recently, the Facebook page Avon Philippines is now searching for a hardworking breadwinner who became emotional after receiving a surprise gift from her mother. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
On April 2025, Reddit user skylescraperr shared her heartfelt reaction after her mom secretly slipped a set of new panties into her bag. These were from Avon, and the surprise brought her to tears.
The breadwinner explained that she had taken on multiple side jobs, aside from her regular work, just to fulfill the wishes of her family. She bought a graduation gift for her youngest sibling, a motorcycle part for their father, and a phone for her mother.
Exhausted but happy, she went home during Holy Week to deliver everything. While unpacking, she found the small gift from her mom. Her mother had noticed she was still using old underwear and saved up from the money her daughter regularly sent home to buy her something new.
Her mom’s simple act brought back childhood memories of not being able to afford nice things, of sharing items with siblings, and staying silent when classmates talked about brands.
On May 2, 2025, Avon Philippines asking for help to find the woman. The company said they were moved by her story and wanted to make her happy in return. As of this writing, there’s no update yet on whether they’ve found her, but many continue to hope she’ll be reached soon.
