A voter stressed that he did not vote for Willie Revillame
Pageant media man Jonathan Santos claimed that upon looking at his voter receipt, he found out that the name of senatorial candidate Willie Revillame was there even though he did not vote for the TV host.
Willie has been receiving polarizing reactions regarding his decision to run for senator in the 2025 elections. He is known as the TV host for the masses. People have been patronizing his game show and enjoy the format of this program.
He has been in the entertainment industry for several decades but it is his first time to be in the political arena. He received support from his fans and many people expressed that they wanted to vote for him.
However, many Filipinos also criticized him and expressed dismay to those who showed support for Willie Revillame. Just recently, he was criticized for his answer when asked about the legislative work of senators. Apparently, pageant media man Jonathan Santos was one of those people not in favor of Kuya Wil’s candidacy.
Based on the Facebook post shared by radio station DWIZ 882, Santos, who voted early, warned the public to be aware of who they vote for and check the voter receipt after.
The voter said that upon checking, he saw Willie’s name on the receipt even though he did not shade the host’s name. When asked about this, Santos shared that he only voted for 11 senatorial candidates of the party he is supporting.
Since he did not like Willie as a senatorial candidate, he did not vote for him. Santos was shocked when he saw the name of the TV host on his receipt. The voter also advised the public to shade the ballot lightly because the paper is too thin.
