A netizen caught the online community’s attention due to this post
Netizen Reign del Rosario shared an unexpected incident in which she almost was not allowed to cast her vote.
The Commission on Elections has certain procedures before voters would get the ballot where they could their votes. They will be assisted by teachers and poll workers.
Voters will be asked by their name to locate their identity in the list of voters in a specific precinct. The document would show the details of the voters, including names, photos, and other information.
Then they will be asked to sign the document and will be given the ballot. After casting their votes, they will be assisted to enter their ballots into the Automated Counting Machine that will verify and count the votes.
The machine will release the ballot receipt which will be checked if the written names correspond to the names of candidates who were voted.
Generally, the process was smooth but according to netizen Reign del Rosario, she almost was not allowed to vote. In a Facebook post, Reign shared two photos after she voted.
One photo showed her profile in the list of voters. It can be noticed that beside her name, a photo of what looked like a man was there. The second photo she shared is a current selfie showing her face which was far from her appearance when she registered.
“At Muntik na nga hindi maka boto. Bawal mag bago tehh?” she wrote in the caption of her post.
In the comment section, Reign that she was even listed among the male voters. Then, she asked the online community how this would be updated because she was already tired of explaining.
Reign’s post, as of this writing, reached 24 thousand laugh reactions over 400 comments, and 7 thousand shares.
Meanwhile, another issue was brought up by a voter who claimed that he did not vote for Willie Revillame but when the ballot receipt showed that the name of the TV host was shaded.
