Kris Aquino Seeks Fresh Start in a Place with Clean Air
KRIS AQUINO – TV personality and former host Kris Aquino is currently confined to a hospital as she undergoes medical tests related to her autoimmune conditions, while also considering a move to a location more suitable for her recovery.
Kris Aquino recently shared that she is currently hospitalized for a series of medical evaluations related to her ongoing battle with autoimmune diseases. Dubbed the “Queen of All Media,” Kris gave an update through Instagram on Saturday, May 10, where she also featured her son Bimby in clips from a recent vlog.
Kris noted that viewers would see more of Bimby while she was undergoing a 2D echocardiogram, with a PET scan scheduled for the following day. She has been managing multiple autoimmune conditions for years and mentioned that her recent flare-ups are making her consider moving to a place with a more suitable environment.
“We are choosing where we will be living—I need fresh air and a cooler climate. The sea breeze will be wonderful. Do you have suggestions?” she shared, inviting her followers to suggest places that might support her healing process.
While she hasn’t finalized any relocation plans, Kris stressed the significance of living in a healthier climate. In a follow-up post, she hinted that more details—including some difficult news—would be revealed soon. Still, she affirmed her determination to keep going, saying, “I will continue to do my very best to fight and to not give up. You will see my journey because you are my prayer warriors. God only wants us to keep the FAITH.”
Kris was supposed to join a vlog episode with K Brosas, Loi Villarama, and Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, but had to bow out due to a severe lupus episode. Her blood pressure had spiked to 165/112, and she was running a high fever of 40.2°C. She explained that her lungs were severely affected, a consequence of her numerous and rare autoimmune diseases.
She also suggested that doctors are investigating the possibility of a tenth autoimmune diagnosis being added to her current list of nine. Despite the serious health challenges, Kris remains optimistic and focused on finding the right treatment and living conditions to support both her and her son’s well-being.
