Carla Abellana Warns Fans After Falling Victim to Food Delivery Scam

CARLA ABELLANA – Kapuso actress Carla Abellana took to social media to warn her followers after being scammed by a food delivery rider who failed to deliver her order.

Carla Abellana recently revealed that she was scammed by a food delivery rider in a frustrating and alarming incident. In a candid post on Threads, Carla shared her unpleasant experience involving a fraudulent food delivery, which highlights the growing concerns over scams targeting customers of online services.

According to Carla, the scam began when her paid food order never arrived. “I just got scammed by a [foodpanda_ph] rider,” she wrote. “Not only did he fail to deliver our paid order, but a supposed second rider called me to say he was delivering our order but I needed to pay COD (cash on delivery). Wow.” The actress almost fell for the second part of the scam, where she would have ended up paying twice for the same undelivered order.
