Family and colleagues of VMX Star Karen Lopez can’t locate her whereabouts
VMX Star Karen Lopez was not able to attend the last shooting day of her movie Maalikaya which also features Jenn Rosa, Aliya Raymundo, Izza Watanabe, and Sheena Cole.
Karen is among the actresses under Viva Entertainment’s management who specifically do projects on VMX, formerly Vivamax, the online streaming platform of the prominent entertainment company.
Based on the article in PEP, Maalikaya director Roman Perez Jr. had to change the story of the movie because Karen was not there during their last shooting day.
It was said that the VMX Star has been missing for three days already. She has not communicated with her family and her manager Lito de Guzman. PEP was able to talk to Karen’s manager on May 8.
The manager shared that Karen’s mother had already gone to the police station to report the disappearance of the VMX actress.
Direk Roman shared that they had to finish the movie shoot without Karen and because of this, a revision was done to the story. However, the director said that they waited for Karen on the set.
“The night before the shoot, nag-confirm pa si Lito sa associate producer namin na sisipot si Karen sa last shooting day,” Direk Roman shared.
The director also shared that they went to Karen’s condominium unit in Sct. Madriñan in Quezon City yesterday. They were knocking on the door for 30 minutes but there was no answer.
“Nakita sa CCTV na sinundo siya ng boyfriend niya. Sinabi rin ng security guard ng condo na may sumundo sa kanya,” Direk Roman shared.
He hoped that the VMX star would be located soon and she would contact anyone regarding her whereabouts because it was a pitiful scenario for her mother. The director added that he felt that Karen’s boyfriend had something to do with this.
Direk Roman said that the actress’s boyfriend does not want her to be a VMX star but he wished that this conflict would be ironed out.
