Sharon Cuneta shared Frankie Pangilinan’s open letter for mayors
Frankie Pangilinan, the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan, asked the mayors in the Philippines to vote for her daddy.
Sharon’s children automatically received celebrity treatment because of her star status in the Philippine entertainment industry even though Frankie and Mel are not actually not in showbiz.
Frankie is known to many celebrities as someone who really speaks her mind, especially about social issues and political topics.
In a recent Instagram post, Sharon Cuneta shared a photo of the open letter that Frankie Pangilinan wrote of the mayors in the Philippines.
“Our dearest Kakie paused from completing all her graduation requirements and wrote this heartfelt letter for all the Mayors in our country to ask for their help for her Daddy,” the Megastar wrote in the caption of her post.
She also expressed gratitude for having very supportive children and specifically thanked Frankie for what she did for her father.
In her letter, Frankie said, “I send a sincere and humble optimism that you might consider supporting my dad in the upcoming election.“
The daughter of the Megastar also said that their family has been the subject of smear campaigns and they stood helpless for several years.
Frankie also stressed that her father is a “deeply humble, consistent man” and highlighted the relatable traits of Kiko Pangilinan, such as being someone “who keeps decades-old T-shirts and listens to disco music and makes it a point to attend all our sport meets, recitals, parent- teacher conferences.”
In the comment section of her post, Sharon Cuneta received a comment from Frankie Pangilinan who apparently was surprised that her mother tagged her in this post.
“Mommy i have been calling u po for thirty minutes akala ko po tulog pa kayo nakakagulat naman po biglang natag,” the daughter of Kiko Pangilinan said.
Previously, Sharon emotionally answered the “lies” being spread against her husband.
