Lady Netizen Earns Online Sympathy for Sharing Video Of Partner’s Abuse Toward Her & Their Child
A lady netizen received online sympathy after posting a video showing her partner physically hurting her and their child.
Recently, Jerlyn Joy Silva, a Facebook user, shared a painful video showing her partner physically hurting her and their child. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In her heartbreaking post, Jerlyn explained how she had hidden the abuse for a long time, even from those closest to her. She once believed it was better to stay silent and keep the peace for the sake of their family.

Despite being a strong woman, the relationship had changed her. She admitted that she endured emotional, mental, and physical abuse from the man she trusted to take care of their family.
Silva kept quiet, hoping to give her daughter a complete family. But over time, the fear, pain, and trauma became too much. She reached a point where staying silent was no longer an option.
The lady netizen said that posting the video was a way to accept what had happened and to begin healing. She also wanted others going through the same experience to know that they are not alone and that no one deserves to be treated with cruelty, no matter the reason.
The woman reiterated that staying in an abusive relationship for the sake of appearances or fear of judgment is not worth sacrificing one’s peace, dignity, or safety.
Jerlyn reminded her fellow mothers that healing is possible and encouraged others to rise above their pain, just as she is doing now.

“Long Post Ahead FOR AWARENESS AND WAKE UP CALL TO ALL BATTERED WIFE Ray Mond Mijares
Pinag isipan at Pinagnilay nilayan ko. Yes this should not be posted. Naisip ko why? Kase nakakahiya. No one would’ve imagine that l was going through silent cries and abuse for a long time, even the closest people I know or my family. This is how I protected you, until you showed your true colors to them that I was trying to hide.
And it’s not me. Hindi yun Ang pagkatao ko. I am happy, proud, confident and easy to be with.
And then one day I experienced violence, abuse emotionally, mentally, and physically from a person na ineexpect Kong mas mag aalaga sakin, samin at sa pamilya na binubuo namin. Knowing my family background and where I’m coming from. You should know better what I wanted was the best for us.
Yes!
I am still in denial na ako yan, pinagdaanan ko yan because to people who know me I don’t let anyone abuse me at work or at home or anywhere.
I always speak up and straight forward when something is wrong.
But this relationship change me. It shut me up just to maintain peace, to keep the family my daughter needed.
It taught me how to cry without a sound because when I do he will be like “anung iniiyak
iyak mo”
I swallow my pride because I am afraid of the consequences na walang tatay yung anak ko.
But that’s not okay.
I just wanted to tell anyone who is going through this and still holding on for the sake of a complete family, No one deserves it! You don’t deserve to be treated like there’s something wrong with you.
“You are your parents precious child.
You are Gods masterpiece and you don’t deserve to be treated like a trash”
I’m posting to put an end to the scariest journey I have ever been. And acceptance that Yes I once was battered but never again.
Grieve, feel the pain, the sadness but make sure to rise above!
Ps. To your family who is tolerating you, and justifying your actions.”
