The issue involving Yanna motovlog prompted the LTO to issue an SCO.

YANNA MOTOVLOG ISSUE – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a show cause order against the female motovlogger.

While overtaking, the driver swerved his way in her direction, almost hitting her, and this act triggered the female rider. Anger got the best of her, and she raised a middle finger at the pickup driver. The pickup truck driver got out of his vehicle and confronted her about it.

“Ba’t namamak*u ka? Alam mong lubak-lubak ang daan,” the pickup driver said, and Yanna responded, “Bakit nga ba? You tell me!”

The video earned negative reactions, with some people online telling her she could have honked her horn to alert the driver, or she could have handled her point in a calmer manner.

Yanna apologized to the driver and to the riding community. The driver’s family expressed their plan to file charges for defamation, as the video was posted without their consent.

Following the controversy, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued a show cause order against the rider over the Zambales road rage. LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said Yanna will be asked to explain why her driver’s license should not be suspended or revoked after allegedly instigating a road rage.

Since she is a famous online personality, she could have chosen to use her influence to promote responsible driving and road safety.

Asec Mendoza said, “Matagal na tayong nagpapaliwanag sa milyon-milyong nating mga kababayang motorista na walang mabuting idinudulot ang init ng ulo sa kalsada—at napakarami na ang naparusahan natin dito.”
