Vhong Navarro talked about the difficult time he went through

It’s Showtime Vhong Navarro shared the lesson he learned from his “madilim na nakaraan.”

Vhong has been in the industry for many years already. He was first known as one of the members of the 90s popular dance group Streetboys. This opened doors of opportunity for him in showbiz, as well as other members of the group.

Eventually, Vhong became known as a comedian and did many comedy movies and shows. Currently, he is one of the hosts of noontime show It’s Showtime.

With his years in the entertainment industry, it was not always positive and vibrant. There was also a time when he went through probably the most challenging part of his life.

This was when he was accused of harassing model Deniece Cornejo. Fortunately, Vhong Navarro was able to move on from that dark past. In a recent interview on Kapamilya journalist Bernadette Sembrano’s YouTube channel, the comedian-host mentioned that challenging chapter in his life.

Siyempre ‘yong mga madilim na nakaraan ko. Siyempre parang isa siyang bangungot,” Vhong admitted, adding that what he did was to pray.

Siya talaga ‘yong pinakamalakas; ‘yong faith natin. ‘Yon ‘yong pinanlaban ko no’ng nando’n ako sa madilim na pinanggalingan ko,” the comedian-host said.

Even though he received support from her family. friends, and fans amid this difficult time, it was prayer that really gave him strength.

When asked about the lesson he learned from that chapter in his life, Vhong said, “Maging stick to one ka. ‘Yon lang ‘yong lesson talaga. Hiuwag kang manloloko.” When his issue with Deniece Cornejo blew up, Vhong Navarro was already with his now-wife Tanya Bautista.

In a previous article, Vhong said that Tanya is an “ideal wife.” She has been there for her through the ups and downs in his life and career.
