Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Says Name of Sen. Bato dela Rosa Also on ICC List of Persons Who Might Be Arrested
BATO DELA ROSA – Vice President Sara Duterte claimed that the Senator’s name comes first than hers on the International Criminal Court list of persons with possible arrest warrant.
Following the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte last March 11, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte immediately flew to The Hague, Netherlands for her father. She stayed there for three (3) weeks to finalize the ICC legal team of the former President.

Early this month, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte arrived in the Philippines from The Hague, Netherlands. She immediately met with her lawyers for her impeachment trial and she also appeared in several campaign sorties to campaign for the senatorial bets of her father’s political party, the #Duter10 of the PDP-Laban.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte’s lawyers are confident to win the impeachment trial. According to her, she is set to return to The Hague as she has promised her parents to be with them on her birthday which is in May.

Recently, during an interview, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that her name is on the ICC list of the personalities who might be arrested. According to her, there are many names on the list and there are still several names ahead of hers.
Vice Pres. Duterte claimed that the name of Sen. Bato dela Rosa is ahead of her in the ICC list of the personalities who might be arrested over the issues on Duterte’s drug war. He was the chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) during the implementation of the drug war.

Aside from Sen. Bato dela Rosa, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also mentioned former PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde, former Police General Vicente Danao Jr., and Police Major General Romeo Caramat Jr. as among the persons whose names are on the ICC list.
“Hindi lang ako, malayo pa ang pangalan ko doon. Ang nauna sa mga pangalan doon ay si Senator Bato dela Rosa, dating PNP chief Albayalde, at dating Police General na si Danao at Police General Caramat… Mauna muna sila, bago ako,” the Vice President said based on a post on Facebook.
Previously, the ICC confirmed that there is a possibility that more arrest warrants may be issued amid an ongoing investigation of the other personalities linked to Duterte’s drug war. Sen. Bato dela Rosa recently said he will not step back on a potential ICC arrest warrant.
