Jackie Forster released a statement video about the Kobe Paras-Kyline Alcantara issue
Former actress Jackie Forster said that Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara begged them to convince Kobe Paras to go home and apologize to her.
The Kobe-Kyline issue has been a hot topic on social media these past few days. Amid the issue, cryptic posts have been shared from both sides. Then, there was unfollowing on Instagram after the breakup issue surfaced.
Kobe was accused of cheating. He was seen holding hands with a woman in Bali, Indonesia. Netizens eventually identified that woman and allegedly it was aspiring singer Rhaila Tamokin.
The basketball player has not spoken about the cheating allegations while the actress said in a magazine interview that she is choosing peace amid a controversy.
On April 27, Jackie Forster released a statement video on her YouTube channel. She pointed out that her sons and their father would not speak about issues because that is how they are.
The former actress pointed out that she decided to speak because she wanted to stand up for her son and stressed that she had no other reason for this.
Jackie said that the mess could have been avoided if Kyline Alcantara’s camp had not asked Benjie Paras to say to the public that she and Kobe Paras were still together.
“Why couldn’t they admit it? Because of contracts,” Jackie said. She also shared that the problem might have started after Kyline and Kobe’s US trip sometime in January.
The former actress said that things have been said and done, which she can call “red flags.” “For the next few months, Kobe had a few more encounters with Kyline’s parent that really put him off,” Jackie shared, adding that Kobe wanted to try to get past it.
Then, Jackie mentioned that when Kobe moved out, the things said to him were unforgivable. Andre helped Kobe move out his things and the former stayed to talk to Kyline’s parents.
Jackie also shared that she was wondering why Kobe was so dismissive because this was not like him. Then, she said that they now know why. “Kobe gives his all. He’s generous. He’s kind. He sticks to one,” she said.
However, Jackie said that if Kobe is made to feel a certain way, he’s done. She also could not understand why Kyline Alcantara and the people around her were allowing people to accuse Kobe of cheating.
The former actress shared that before Easter, Kyline contacted them. “She was begging all of us to convince Kobe to go back home and to apologize to her so they could still fix things,” she said.
