SB19 Features Vice Ganda, Alodia & More In ‘Dungka’ MV For ‘Simula at Wakas’ EP

SB19 relesed their third EP ‘Simula at Wakas’

P-Pop Kings SB19 surprised their fans, A’TIN, with this new music video of the song Dungka which is part of their third extended play Simula at Wakas.

The quintet initially announced that they would be releasing a music video for the ballad song Time but there was no mention that another MV would be released on April 25.

What was more surprising was the people who joined Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justing in their Dungka MV, from the showbiz world to the online community’s popular personalities.

The song focused on ignoring negativities and not compromising for those who ignore acceptance of what they present, and this was accompanied by a “maximalist production with rave and hyper-pop elements,” SB19’s press release explained.

In the 5-minute video, the Kings of P-Pop featured showbiz and social media personalities, led by the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda dressed in an epic pink outfit strutting the streets like a runway model.

Kapamilya actress-singer Maymay Entrata also joined the MV cast and cosplayer-gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao. Social media personalities like Mimiyuuuh, Sassa Gurl, Kween Yasmin, and more were also featured in the music video.

To recall, this was not the first time that the P-pop pioneers worked with Vice. Last year, the It’s Showtime host featured SB19 for his group’s Magpasikat performance. The group even let Vice use their song Liham and volunteered to alter the lyrics to make it more fitting for the performance theme.

Vice also used the group’s song MAPA for his Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry And The Breadwinner Is. Then, the Unkabogable Star featured SB19 in his chaotic vlog last December and he even had a heartfelt message for the five artists.

Meanwhile, aside from Dungka and Time, SB19’s Simula at Wakas EP also features the songs 8TonBall, Quit, and Shooting for the Stars, as well as the pre-released hit song DAM.
