She reminisced about their childhood, recalling how she and her siblings eagerly accompanied their father wherever he went—whether it was to concerts, rehearsals, or even late-night poker games. Being close to him was always a joy, and they cherished every moment they had by his side.

That bond only grew stronger over the years. Even as adults with their own families, Rachel and her siblings continued to seek out their father’s company. She described him as a man full of positivity and happiness, who prioritized the well-being of his family above all else. From the young age of 19, Hajji dedicated himself to providing for his loved ones through his music, never allowing illness or exhaustion to stop him from performing.

Rachel also shared the painful experience of watching her father during his final days. Despite being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Hajji remained devoted to his craft, performing through immense pain. She admired his unwavering commitment, saying that every performance was a gift and a testament to his love for music and his fans.

As she stood by his side throughout his hospital stays and final moments, Rachel confessed that she was still not ready to say goodbye. She is now learning to navigate life without him, holding on to his legacy and vowing to honor him through her own performances. “From now on,” she wrote, “I will be singing and dancing with Dad in my dreams.”
