Arnold Clavio shared this video of a young woman talking about religion
Kapuso journalist Arnold Clavio slammed a young woman who criticized his belief in this video clip.
Arnold, also known as Igan in the broadcasting industry, is known for bravely sharing his thoughts on national issues, political scenes, and sometimes topics about famous personalities. He uses his social media platforms to share his thoughts, as well as to express what he feels about certain issues.
One of the most recent social media posts that he shared was a short video of a young woman speaking in front of people. The young woman’s topic was about religion, specifically, the sign of the cross that Catholic believers do.

In the video, the young woman criticized the supposed “gang sign” that only Catholics do. She expressed that it was awkward while copying the gesture in a comedic way.
“Pagdating sa usapin ng relihiyon – RESPETO ang higit na nangingibabaw,” Arnold Clavio wrote in the caption of his post. He also stressed that freedom of expression should not be used to drag down what Catholics, like him, believe.

As a Catholic believer, Arnold stressed that this gesture is sacred for them and it is a symbol of hope and being grateful. “Mga standup comedian, na hanapbuhay ang PAGPAPATAWA – hindi NAKAKATAWA ang pag-apak sa paniniwala o sa ibang relihiyon,” the Kapuso journalist said.
In the comment section of his post, a netizen asked Arnold who the young woman was. He answered that he did not know her, but he prayed for her.
Meanwhile, Arnold Clavio was slammed by Sarah Balabagan last March because of his statement about the supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte. Sarah was one of the avid supporters of the former President, while Arnold has been sharing posts as a critic regarding what happened to Duterte.
Leave religion alone. Be it campaigning, comedy acts or lectures. Don’t involve religion. It is a touchy topic. Just give some respect. And don’t be racists too.
