Claudine Barretto rallies behind Jojo Mendrez
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto expressed support for businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez after he filed a blotter complaint against actor Mark Herras.
Jojo and Mark’s connection started well. After they were spotted together at a hotel, their collaboration started. However, negative comments surfaced and speculations about the real score between them.
Then, their connection was broken. Jojo revealed that Mark borrowed money from him. However, this was not an issue for him. The real issue for Jojo was the alleged threat he received from the StarStruck alum.
Jojo Mendrez formally filed a complaint against Mark Herras. When asked about the case filed against him, the actor said that he does not want to be part of a nonsense promotion.
Amid this issue, Claudine Barretto showed support for Jojo Mendrez. Based on the article in Inquirer, the Optimum Star backed Jojo’s decision to file a complaint against Mark.
“Gusto ko lang malaman mo na nakausap ko ang mga kaibigan natin and alam ko na ang mga nangyari. And that, huwag kang matakot. Nandito lang ako. Ang daming nagmamahal sa’yo,” the actress said.
Claudine also said that she does not want to say “I told you so” to Jojo, but she wants to remind him to be careful next time because other people might abuse him. She also said that when Jojo is hurt, she is also hurting.
Claudine Barretto promised that she will be beside Jojo Mendrez’s in this battle. “As long as nasa tama ka, kung sino ang kalaban mo, dapat [mapanagutan]. Nandito ang support ko sa’yo, 100 percent,” she said, adding that the businessman-singer should not allow anyone stumble on him.
“Mahal kita kaya andito ako bilang kaibigan, bilang kapatid. Gaya ng sinabi ko, huwag kang matakot. Nandito kami. Walang pwedeng manakit sa’yo. Tandaan mo ’yan. Mahal na mahal kita,” the Optimum Star expressed.
