Netizens reacted to this recent viral video of Willie Revillame
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame, who is running for senator, had a viral video in which he said that he will do “hep hep hooray” in the Senate if arguments happen.
Willie has been in the entertainment industry for many years. There had been talks about him entering the political arena. Back in 2022, he refused to run even though it was former President Rodrigo Duterte who offered him, saying that it was not for him.
However, he changed his perspective regarding the political arena. Willie decided to file his certificate of candidacy for senator as an independent candidate, which garnered various reactions.
Some people showed support for him while some criticized and questioned his ability to be a lawmaker and serve the Filipino people.
Just recently, Willie Revillame became a trending topic on X, formerly Twitter, because of his video in which he mentioned one of the famous games in his show, the Hep Hep Hooray.
In the video, which was apparently taken during a political event, Willie said, “Ang tanong ko lang, hep hep,” and the crowd answered back with “hooray.”
“Pag nag-away away kami sa senado, tama na, hep hep,” Willie said, and the crowd answered again “hooray.”
He also mentioned his famous line when a contestant won a prize worth P5,000. The veteran TV host also quipped that if he and Tulfo were to fight, he would say, “bigyan ng jacket yan!”
Netizen @JadedOldCat on X shared a video clip of Willie Revillame mentioning his famous lines in his game show. “Kasalanan ‘to ng mga mahilig maglabas ng mga quiz kung sino pinakabob0 na senador. Imbes na mahiya ang mga tukmol tulad ni Willie Revillame, nacha-challenge eh,” the netizen wrote in the caption of the post. That video clip was originally posted by @kblstgn.
