Police Authorities Arrest 2 Men in Separate Operations
Two men were arrested by authorities in separate operations in connection with cases of acts of lasciviousness.
The first suspect, a 20-year-old man, was caught at his home in Barangay 183, Villamor, Pasay City, around 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2. Police say he is ranked number two on the most wanted list in Garchitorena, Camarines Sur, where the crime was originally committed.
He had been hiding in Pasay to avoid arrest. The man chose to remain silent when questioned about the accusations.
Both suspects are considered among the Most Wanted Persons by the Pasay City Police.
“Nakakuha kami ng information regarding sa kanya na siya po ay from Camarines Sur. Nagtago po siya dito sa Villamor sa Bgy .183 kung san po namin siya nahuli… Kaya wala kaming info…. kasi [sa] Bicol region nangyari ang krimen yan eh,” Villaruel explained.
He is now in the custody of the Pasay City Police but will be transferred back to Camarines Sur to face the charges filed against him.
Later that same day, police arrested another suspect, a 49-year-old man, at his residence in Barangay Baclaran, Parañaque City. He is listed as number three on Pasay’s station-level most wanted list. Authorities located him with the help of an informant.
“Nahuli namin dun sa address kung san siya nakatira sa Parañaque… Ayon dun sa information na nakuha namin, taga Pasay din po yung biktima niya,” he added.
According to police, the victim in this case was an 11-year-old child from Pasay. The suspect is currently detained at the Pasay Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. He did not give any statement regarding the case.
