Karylle was overwhelmed by this recent experience
It’s Showtime host Karylle shared her experience interviewing Korean stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Da-hee, and Lee Joo-bin, the cast of The Divorce Insurance.
K has been in the entertainment industry for many years already. She is the daughter of Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla. More than just a singer, K ventured into acting and hosting. Currently, she has her own podcast and YouTube channel.
As a fan of K-drama or Korean dramas, she named her online show K’s Drama. Her ultimate fangirling happened just recently.
Karylle had the chance to interview the lead cast members of the new K-drama The Divorce Insurance, which is airing on Prime Video.
The singer-actress shared a video of her interview on her YouTube channel. After the interview, she talked about her experience meeting the Korean stars, especially Lee Dong Wook.
K revealed that Dong Wook was the star of the first K-drama she watched ten years ago. It seemed like she met the one who led her into being a K-drama fan. She admitted that it was an overwhelming experience for her.
“I tried my best to keep together and be totally professional but after the interview, I cried… It’s embarrassing to admit it but okay maybe I shed a tear. The tears actually fell because it was an overwhelming sense of joy as a fan of K-Dramas and my favorite actor, I guess, Lee Dong-wook,” K shared.
She was grateful that the Korean star who ushered her into the world of K-drama was in front of her and was answering her questions.
On her social media page, the actress-singer shared her photos with the Korean stars. She was in the center, and they were gesturing their hands toward her. K admitted that she was trying to be cool at that moment.
What made Karylle extra happy was that it happened sometime around her birthday. “It felt like a big big gift so I’m so so happy,” she said.
