Forbes Releases Net Worth of Manny Villar, Other Top Billionaires in PH
MANNY VILLAR – The Forbes’ list of the 50 Richest Billionaire in the Philippines had the name of the business tycoon on top as the wealthiest individual Filipino billionaire.
In the Philippines, there are several individuals who are on top of the list when it comes to wealth. Many of these people are not in politics, in the showbiz industry, nor sports. They are in the business field.
One of the most popular billionaires in the Philippines is Manny Villar. Yes, he is a former Senator but he has long left the political field in the country and focused on his businesses. His wife, Sen, Cynthia Villar, and their children are the ones who are in government and public service now.
Sen. Cynthia Villar who claimed she has no ambition to be a House Speaker is on her last term as a lawmaker in the Senate. She is running for congresswoman of Las Piñas City this May 2025 Elections.

Recently, Forbes released its list of 50 Richest People in the Philippines. While he ranked third in the list, based on the real-time estimate of net worth, business giant Manny Villar is currently the wealthiest Filipino billionaire in the country.
Based on the post of Forbes, the real-time estimate of the net worth of Villar is at $17 billion as of April 2025. It makes him the 115th richest person in the world. His real estate businesses are noted as among the main sources of wealth of the 75-year-old business tycoon.
Villar is currently the chairman of property developer Vista Land & Lifescapes which is run by his other son, Manuel Paolo. According to Forbes, the biggest asset of the former Senator is his stake in Golden MV Holdings or formerly known as Golden Bria. It is the property developer that is currently building the Villar City in the South of Manila.
