In a statement, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo asks for prayers for her family.
Former president and Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo seeks prayers for her family amid a difficult time.
As much as we all know, former president and Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is married to lawyer-businessman Jose Miguel Tuazon Arroyo, and they have three children. In a statement, she revealed the difficult time their family is currently going through, and she asked for prayers.

According to Arroyo, her husband will be going through major surgery on April 7 due to a heart condition. His dissecting aortic aneurysm that had undergone an emergency repair in 2007 is expanding again. This means he will have to go through another surgery again, a bigger one, combined with a bypass and an aortoplasty to prevent another emergency from occurring.
As for her son, Mikey, he was diagnosed with stage one thyroid gland cancer and had surgery last March 18.
“Then, our son Mikey’s biopsy revealed Stage One cancer of the thyroid gland, and he underwent surgery last March 18, thankfully, a successful one,” she stated. Her nephew-in-law, Paowee Tantoco, passed away, and she will soon fly to Singapore for her husband’s surgery.
“Please pray for my family,” she said.
