Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Speaks on Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s Habit of Drinking Coke Zero
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President revealed that former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte requests at least two (2) cans of Coke Zero daily.
It has been more than a week now since former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was arrested and sent to The Hague, Netherlands. The International Criminal Court or ICC which welcomed the arrest of Duterte issued an arrest warrant against him.
After former Pres. Duterte was flown to The Hague, Netherlands via Dubai, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte immediately flew to the Netherlands to support her father. According to the Vice President, she is the only one among their family who has a Schengen Visa and is a lawyer.
Vice Pres. Duterte said the former President wants her to immediately return to the Philippines. According to the her, she will just settle the legal team of her father and wait for another next-of-kin to be there so she can return to the country.
The Vice President assured the supporters of former Pres. Duterte that he is “feeling better now”. The ICC detention facility also responded to the request of the former President for rice aside from the Dutch foods that he is served.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte wants his personal clothes as well as a supply of Coke Zero. It is no secret to the public that he is fond of drinking Coke Zero as he is usually seen with the said drink.
Based on a report on Inquirer, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte revealed that she has left one (1) can of Coke Zero daily for former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte for four (4) days but he wants more. According to the Vice President, it is really a problem for them as the former President can’t stop drinking this soda drink.
“Our only problem is, he can’t stop drinking Coke Zero. He said ‘why is my Coke Zero only once a day?’ He said he eats three times a day— breakfast, lunch, and dinner—so he said he has to have at least two cans of Coke Zero a day,” the Vice President said.
Based on the report, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who now has diabetes is ready to face the possible impact on his health for drinking Coke Zero daily. The Vice President said she would ensure that her father has an “unlimited supply” of his favorite soda.
Former Pres. Duterte is celebrating his 80th birthday this March 28. According to Vice Pres. Duterte, she has no idea about the celebration in The Hague, Netherlands as the event will be organized by her father’s supporters abroad.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte revealed that her sister, Kitty, is set to go to The Hague and see their father. However, their brothers cannot go there yet because of the absence of travel Visas.
