This recent photo on the FB page of Liza Marcos caught netizens’ attention
First Lady Liza Marcos had this photo with the Asian Cultural Council posted on her official page which earned funny comments from netizens.
The wife of President Bongbong Marcos is very visible in the state’s events. Earlier this month, she went to the United States of America to support the Philippine film industry and attended the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF).
She was photographed with famous Filipino celebrities who joined the said entertainment event. However, a controversy surfaced behind that celebration.
Allegedly, FL Liza Marcos was detained in the US. Speculations were connecting her to the death of Rustan’s Paolo Tantoco.
The Malacañang Palace immediately debunked the speculations. In a statement, it said that there was no truth to the allegation that the First Lady was detained in the States. In a Facebook post on March 11, it showed that FL Liza donated to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.
Despite the statement from the Palace regarding this issue, speculations continue to linger on social media.
On March 22, FL’s Facebook Page released another photo. “Regular meeting of the Asian Cultural Council [ 𝗔𝗖𝗖] Pangarap Clubhouse, Malacañang Park, Manila | 21 March 2025,” the caption of the post stated.
In the photo, FL Liza was in the front looking at the camera and members of the ACC were behind her as they were all seated surrounding the table. While this garnered positive comments from many of FL’s supporters, many netizens also pointed out what they noticed about the photo and apparently, this created a funny atmosphere in the comment section.
“Bat sya nakatayo? Unano pala si Lisa ano,” a netizen commented. Some commented that this was an edited photo. Here are some comments.
