Enchong Dee shared this aspiration
Kapamilya actor-host Enchong Dee expressed that someday, he wants to be a philanthropist.
Enchong found success in the entertainment industry after his humble beginning as a commercial model. He, later on, had his big break when he starred in the sereis Katorse with his close friend Erich Gonzales.
From that, more opportunities opened for him in the entertainment industry. Aside from being an actor and a host, Enchong is also a businessman. With many hats that he is currently wearing, he still wants to add one and it is being a “philanthropist,” based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
He aspires to give back to the community. “Gusto ko talagang maging philanthropist. Gusto ko magpa-aral,” Enchong Dee said.
For the actor, education is way beyond the academic track as it also involves vocational skills. He wanted to promote other learnings like fishery and eco-tourism. This is the reason why he is taking part in the Academy of Rock which is a music school.
The actor pointed out that being involved in this school, he is somehow empowering other people. “When a person is empowered, hindi ka pwedeng tapakan, hindi ka pwedeng insuluthin, because you are an empowered human being,” he stressed.
Enchong also shared his concept of success. For him, being successful is when a person is at peace and this is the success that he has been trying to attain every year. “Parang wala naman akong kaaway, parang lahat naman chill naman, parang masaya na ako sa ganung klaseng buhay,” he added.
Despite his busy schedule, Enchong Dee said that he is able to travel once in a while, eat what he likes, and has the capacity to share with other people.
The actor said in a social media post in 2021 that it has been his dream to establish his own school. He, together with Joshua Garcia and other partners reopened the Academy of Rock Philippines.
