In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Aubrey shared that she felt nervous sharing the same screen with Claudine Barretto.

Direk Gino Santos was asked how it was working with the Optimum Star. He said that at first, he felt intimidated but eventually, he realized that the award-winning actress is a sweet person.

Then, the director gave the microphone to Aubrey who expressed the same thoughts. “Umiyak po ako sa takot,” the newbie actresses revealed. She also shared that at first, she was at ease with her first scenes with other cast members such as Heaven Peralejo, Marco Gallo, Jerome Ponce, Krissha Viaje, and others.

However, during her scenes with Claudine, she was feeling nervous. “I was doing a pretty good job naman. One take, one take… pero nung kasama ko na si Miss Claudine, like dinner scene namin with Sir Bobby Andrews, nagpa-panic na po ako inside kasi parang hindi pa nagsi-sink in sa akin na, ‘Oh, my gosh, ka-work ko si Miss Claudine, ka-work ko si Sir Bobby Andrews.’ Tapos sila pa ‘yung parents ko dito,” Aubrey shared.

The young actress also said that the pressure, excitement, and everything she felt piled up, and because of this, she was not able to act well at first. The director would tell her to repeat a scene and she was shy about this.

Aubrey was thankful that everyone on the set was patient. She said that she felt pressured because this is a big brother and her parents in the series are prominent figures in showbiz.

Eventually, it sunk into her that “this is it” already and she needed to embrace this. Aubrey Caraan also told herself that this is a different project from what she has done before. “But I’m really, really grateful for that experience,” she added.
