Rumor has it that Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards ignored each other on stage
Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo and Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards were among the celebrities who graced the stage for this year’s Bench Body Of Work fashion show.
Kathryn and Alden first worked together in 2019 for the Star Cinema movie Hello, Love, Goodbye. Their unexpected onscreen partnership became a hit as fans loved their chemistry. After five years, their reunion movie happened as they did the sequel, Hello, Love, Again.
By the time their shooting for the film, rumors surfaced that romance started brewing between them. It was speculated that Alden started courting Kathryn, and it was rumored that the family of the actress was in favor of the actor.
However, in recent weeks, rumors surfaced that Alden Richards stopped courting Kathryn Bernardo, and the latter was linked to Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala. A rumor also surfaced that Kathryn and Alden were “dedmahan” after their movie.
During the recent Bench fashion event, Alden and Kathryn were there but they did not walk the runway together. KathDen fans were hoping to see them together on stage but this did not happen even during the show’s ending in which everyone was on stage.
Videos circulated showing that Kathryn and Alden were far from each other. However, KathDen fans rejoiced when a video of the two celebrities surfaced online.
TikTok user @msanjabad shared a video of KathDen’s backstage moment. In the video, the actress was talking to weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz. Then, Kathryn looked at the other side and saw Alden. The actress gestured her hand towards Alden before walking in his direction.
As the camera panned, it showed Kathryn and Alden hugged to greet each other. Then, the actor assisted the actress to where they should be.
