Bato Dela Rosa Strikes President Bongbong Marcos Again

During a prayer rally, Senator Bato Dela Rosa aired his thoughts again about the president.

Senator Bato Dela Rosa is still not done yet, as during a prayer rally for Rodrigo Duterte, he lashed out at President Bongbong Marcos again.

“I just would like to tell him that I’m so sad na meron tayong pangulo na walang isang salita. Iba ‘yung sinabi, iba ‘yung ginawa. So, malungkot po tayo.”

This is what Senator Bato Dela Rosa said in a message to President Bongbong Marcos after ex-president Rodrigo Duterte was arrested. He was feeling betrayed, saddened, and disappointed as the current leader of the country was not able to fulfill his promise to protect them from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

It is said that he is the next one to be arrested, and in a previous article, Dela Rosa is ready to join the former leader. To recall, he served as the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief during Duterte’s presidency. He was one of the top officials tagged with the case of Duterte in the ICC.

Recently, during a prayer rally for the former president, it seemed like he is not done yet over his sentiments with the president.

“Laging sinasabi ni President Marcos hindi namin ni-recognize ang ICC. Kasi di kami miyembro. Hindi kami nagco-coordinate sa ICC. Anong ginawa ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos? Interpol,” he said.

He reiterated his knowledge about the role of the global policing organization. He asserted that he knew and remarked with sarcasm, “Commitment sa Interpol?”

To recall, the president expressed that the arrest was done by the book and part of the commitment of the country with the Interpol. Marcos stressed that if the country wouldn’t oblige, they wouldn’t help us with the other cases that involve Filipino fugitives abroad.

Regarding his potential arrest, Dela Rosa expressed his concern. He previously said that he is ready to defend himself if the lawyer fails.
