Jake Ejercito featured Kian Delos Santos in his recent post
Kapamilya actor Jake Ejercito shared this intriguing post after former President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested.
The former Chief Executive of the Philippines was arrested after a warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court was issued. This was connected to the controversial war on drugs that FPPRD had during his administration.
Many Filipinos supported this advocacy. However, Duterte was also greatly criticized for this. For his critics, this was a form of extra-judicial killings (EJK).
Based on the article in Balita, a document from the Office of the President, during PRRD’s administration, 20,322 drug suspects were killed from July 2016 until November 2017.
One of the prominent personalities who was alleged a victim of EJK was Kian Delos Santos who was just 17 years old only. After the hearing that was held regarding the murder case, police officers were sentenced up to 40 years in prison.
In a recent Facebook post, Jake Ejercito shared an art card featuring Kian with his last words, “Tama na po! Tama na po! May test pa ako bukas…“
The actor wrote in the caption of his post, “Ang mali ay may bayad, at ngayon na ang singilan.” This came after FPRRD was arrested.
Jake is the son of former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada.” He is known for bravely sharing his thoughts regarding social and political issues. To recall, he was one of the celebrity supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem in the 2022 elections. He even went from house to house to personally campaign for the tandem.
Meanwhile, the former President was already brought to the Netherlands to face the ICC. In a recent report, it was stated that his daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte, flies to the said country to be with her father.
