A community cat reportedly died after allegedly being kicked by a Chinese man at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City.
Animal lovers are calling for justice after a defenseless community cat named Ken was kicked to death at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City.
The incident was captured on CCTV, and the suspect has been identified as a Chinese national named Shan Jiang. The act of cruelty has sparked public outrage, with many demanding accountability for the tragic loss of the beloved feline.

According to CARA Welfare Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare, Ken was peacefully resting on a walkway when the suspect suddenly attacked. The unfortunate incident led to the cat’s untimely death.
“This man was caught on CCTV kicking a frail and defenseless community cat at Ayala Triangle Gardens, resulting in the cat’s death. The cat was simply resting, unaware of the cruelty about to happen,” the agency stated.
Witnesses confronted the man and brought him to the barangay, but he refused to provide his address and arrogantly dismissed the situation, directing them to contact the Chinese Embassy instead.

The suspect remains at large, raising concerns about potential future harm to other animals.
“We seek your help to know the man’s identity and whereabouts in order to proceed with the filing of a case against him. This was not just an attack on one cat. It was a blatant violation of our law – RA 8485,” the page added.
CARA Welfare Philippines has expressed its determination to seek justice for Ken. The organization is actively searching for the suspect and has announced a monetary reward for anyone who can provide confirmed information about his location.
