Dennis Trillo had a steamy scene in his new movie
Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo had an intriguing sunflower scene in the movie Everything About My Wife with his wife Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado and Kapamilya actor Sam Milby.
Dennis is known for portraying dramatic roles in series and movies. He has received acting awards for his performances, just like last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. He was hailed as the Best Actor for his performance in Green Bones.
This year, he ventured into romantic comedy. In his TikTok account, Dennis is fond of sharing funny videos. He said that he wanted to show his funny side even though he is known as a dramatic actor.
In his new movie, one of the memorable scenes he did was an intimate one. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, during the premiere night, moviegoers, composed of celebrities, media executives and officers, social media influencers, and other personalities, were surprised by the sunflower scene. For them, it was the most daring scene the actor has done so far.
“I will never see the sunflower the same way again,” a fan commented. Following the reactions to that particular scene, Dennis Trillo changed his profile picture on TikTok to sunflower. “[If you know, you know],” he quipped. The actor even added the hashtag “Sunflower ni Dom.”
Dom is his character’s name in the movie. A married man who became unhappy with his marriage. With the intention to get out of the marriage, he hired a womanizer to seduce his wife. Director Real Florido shared that he did not have a hard time convincing Dennis to do that scene.
“He knows that this is something that his character would do. We’ve all seen how fun and crazy Dennis can be with his videos on TikTok, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. But still, Dennis never fails to shock us with his amazing talent as an actor,” the filmmaker said.
Direk Real also shared that even before the shoot, he would start working on the chemistry between the cast members. He said that this technique has been effective in his past projects.
He is happy with the professionalism of Dennis, Jennylyn, and Sam in this movie. The director shared that he let the actors give life to the characters based on how they discussed. “It’s always a breeze working with actors who are not just experienced but also mature and secure enough to be on the set and perform as expected,” Direk Real shared.
