TV and movie actor Cedrick Juan recently tied the knot with theater actress Kate Alejandrino. Their wedding was held on February 26. It was an intimate garden wedding that happened shortly after they announced their engagement.
To recall, he won the Best Actor trophy at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 for his portrayal of Padre Jose Burgos in the film “GomBurZa”.
In a recent post on his Instagram account, he shared a series of photos that were taken from their wedding ceremony. He wrote, “Masaya akong maibalik sa iyong mga mata ang pinangarap ko lang noong nagsimula tayo. Ngunit alam kong hindi ito natatapos sa pag-iisang dibdib.”
As they unfolded this new chapter in their lives, it strengthened their relationship and love for each other. Their wedding day was a celebration witnessed by God and universe. He added, “Habang buhay na bigayan, suyuan, aso’t-pusang argumento at hindi pagkakasunduan. Pero pipiliin ko pa ding ikaw ang makasamang magresolba.”
He is looking forward to their journey as a married couple. He acknowledged the challenges that may come, but he is committed to facing them with her and assured her that he will always choose her.
The MMFF Best Actor is thankful for her love – a sustaining love that helped him grow and become more honest about his emotions. He is thankful for the inspiration, to the kind of love she embraced, and to her saying “Yes” to him to spend their lives together.
During their big day, among the guests were Dolly de Leon, Jane Oineza and RJ Bagatsing, Anna Luna, Jojit Lorenzo, Donna Cariaga, Rania Lindayag, TJ Valderrama, Kat Galang, Jal Galang, Hershey Neri, Brian Sy, Gomburza director Pepe Diokno, and Kate’s brother, Senior High actor Tommy Alejandrino.
