Robi Domingo Goes To NBI After He Received “Threat” From Netizen

Robi Domingo shared this post about online comments

Kapamilya host Robi Domingo went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) following the “threat” he received from a netizen.

Just recently, ABS-CBN announced the new season of Pilipinas Got Talent. Robi is the host for this season and he is joined by Melai Cantiveros. For the judges, the show chose seasoned actress Eugene Domingo and former ABS-CBN President Freddie ‘FMG’ Garcia.

For the younger generation of stars, Kathryn Bernardo and Donny Pangilinan were chosen to join the panel of judges for the new season.

In his Instagram post a few days ago, Robi Domingo shared behind-the-scenes photos of their photoshoot for the reality talent show. This made Kapamilya fans excited. However, an apparent fan of the DonBelle loveteam, Donny’s onscreen partnership with Belle Mariano, shared a comment that appeared to be a “threat” for Robi.

In his reply to the netizen, Robi hinted at taking legal action because of this, and he did this. The Kapamilya host shared photos in his recent Instagram post showing that he visited NBI’s office. “ACCOUNTABILITY,” he wrote in the caption of his post.

The TV host also shared the things he learned after that visit. Based on his post, people can file a complaint if their safety is at risk. Robi also highlighted that it is important to take screenshots of your complaint and the link or URL of that certain comment or post. The digital trace is still there even though the netizen has deleted it.

Whether the comment or post is from a troll or a real person, they are still responsible for their actions. “Remember, every action has consequences, whether online or offline. Let’s be kind and take responsibility,” Robi Domingo said.

In his comment on his post, Robi shared that the netizen deleted the comment, so the whole thread was deleted. This can still be used as proof of intent because of malice.
