Will Solenn Heussaff join a pageant?
Actress Solenn Heussaff was asked if there is a possibility that she will join a beauty pageant someday.
Solenn is indeed one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine entertainment industry. Many people admire her beauty, talent, figure, charm, and intelligence, aside from her comedic side.
With what she possesses, inevitably fans would anticipate that she can join a pageant or she is fit to be a beauty queen. However, in a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the Kapuso star was honest about what she thinks of being in a pageant.
Solenn Heussaff admitted that she couldn’t see herself joining a pageant. She stressed she has no plan to join and that she is not fit in this field. “No, I haven’t, but I don’t think it’s for me,” she said.
On the other hand, the actress said that she admires women who join the pageant. However, she said that she does not have what it takes to be a beauty queen.
“I’m not just that confident when talking in public. I think it’s really something you should have a big confidence in,” Solenn said, adding that she looked up to beauty queens but this is not really for her.
However, the actress revealed that when she was younger, she had a shot in a beauty pageant. “I joined when I was younger, when I was 13. But it was just a teen-y pageant — Miss Teen Philippines!” the actress shared.
Although she has a fixed “no” in joining a pageant, she will not hinder her daughters if they want to join someday. Solenn said that she would definitely support her daughter if they would decide on their own. The actress added that even her husband Nico Bolzico will not force her to join a pageant. “He knows that I would say ‘no.’ It’s really not me!” she said.
Meanwhile, Solenn Heussaff is returning to acting. She will resume her character Cassiopea in Sanggre, the spin-off series of Encantadia. The Kapuso fantasy series is set to premiere in June.
