Mark Herras On His Bashers Amid Issue w/ Jojo Mendrez: “Thank you”

Mark Herras thanked his bashers

Actor Mark Herras said that with his 21 years in the entertainment industry, he is no longer affected by bashing.

Just recently, Mark became a trending topic on social media after his dance performance video at a male entertainment bar went viral. He received negative reactions for that but he stressed that there was nothing wrong with what he did because it was work.

The actor has done many projects under the Kapuso network since he started his showbiz career after he was hailed as the first StarStruck Ultimate Survivor.

However, in recent years, the actor seldom had acting projects which affected his financial status. Mark Herras said that performing at a bar was part of his job to earn money for his wife and their child.

After that issue, the actor once again went viral when he was spotted with singer-businessman Jojo Mendrez at Okada Hotel. Malicious speculations surfaced because of that. Jojo denied his rumored romantic relationship with Mark.

However, amid their statement that they were just friends, reporters at Jojo’s contract signing/press conference cheered with “kilig” when Mark surprised the singer-businessman and gave him flowers while he was performing.

In a recent report by TV5 entertainment reporter MJ Marfori, she asked Mark about the rumors linking him and Jojo. Instead of getting angry with the people who were aggravating the issue, the actor thanked them.

Sa mga taong parang nagpapalaki ng issue, thank you, ang dami kong trabaho,” Mark laughingly said about his bashers.

He also said that he is no longer affected by the bashing because he has been in the industry for 21 years already. He shared that he does not read the comments or watch videos about him but his wife Nicole Donesa does.

He said that he would tell his wife not to read those reactions or ignore the negative comments.

Mark Herras reminded the public that he was raised by gay parents so, he has high respect for the members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
