How true is it that the song by Yeng Constantino had something to do with Moira dela Torre?
Netizens speculated that the song Babala, released by Pop Rock Royalty Yeng Constantino in 2024, was about Paubaya singer Moira dela Torre.
In recent weeks, Moira has been one of the most trending celebrities in the Philippines. The issue started when rumors surfaced that talent management company Cornerstone Entertainment released her as an artist because of her alleged “attitude problem.”
Although there were netizens who agreed with this allegation against Moira, her fans cried “unfair” for what allegedly Cornerstone did to the singer.
Then, netizens noticed that other Cornerstone artists like Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, TJ Monterde, and Sam Milby unfollowed Moira dela Torre on Instagram. Just recently, Sam admitted that he and Moira are no longer friends.
Previously, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz had intriguing stories about the Moira-Cornerstone issue. Allegedly, Moira has been saying negative things about other Cornerstone artists.
The snubbing incident that happened between the singer-songwriter and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, who is also a Cornerstone artist, added fuel to the fire of the issue.
Amid this issue, netizens had another speculation. They connected Yeng’s 2024 song Babala to Moira. One part of the song had these lines:

Social media personality Auntie Selina on X, formerly Twitter, shared a post about this netizens’ speculation.
