Atty. Oscar Karaan, Lawyer of Jam Ignacio, Speaks on Client’s Absence at NBI Probe
Jam Ignacio’s lawyer, Attorney Oscar Karaan, claimed that the businessman is currently trying to mend with his fiancée, DJ Jellie Aw.
Last Valentine’s Day, countless people were surprised when club DJ and social media influencer Jellie Aw went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) with bruises in her face. She filed a complaint against her fiancé.
DJ Jellie Aw claimed that her fiancé, Jam Ignacio, physically hurt her. A social media post about what allegedly happened went viral on social media. Based on the post, the incident took place inside a car and the club DJ was only able to seek help from other people when the RFID failed to scan.
Amid the issue with DJ Jellie Aw, Jam Ignacio was nowhere to be found. He only appeared five (5) days after to apologize publicly to his fiancée and her family and friends through an exclusive interview with GMA News.
According to the businessman, maybe he just ran out of patience coupled with the stress they had for the things done the entire day which led to the incident. He stressed that it started with a simple misunderstanding and he vowed that it won’t happen again.
Jam apologized to the family of DJ Jellie including her siblings and most especially her mother. He stressed that her mom whom he also called “Ma” knows how much he loves her. The businessman also expressed that he still wants their wedding to be pushed through.
Recently, Jam Ignacio ditched the NBI hearing. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the lawyer of the business said they had already sent a letter to the investigation bureau and assured that his client is ready to appear at any fiscal’s office if a case will be filed at a court.
The NBI can just refer the matter to the appropriate fiscal’s office with jurisdiction over the case and then we’ll answer the case that will be filed against my client,” the lawyer said.
Based on the report, the lawyer of Jam Ignacio also shared that his client is currently exerting efforts to fix the problem and reconcile with his fiancée. He wants the issue settled out of court as well and the lawyer believes that it can be settled within themselves without being feasted on social media.
“My client, he is trying to mend with his girlfriend para sana ma-settle ito out of court or out of the fiscal’s office para hindi na humaba kasi pinagpipiyestahan sila sa social media,” Atty. Karaan said.
Amid the issue, the sister of DJ Jellie Aw warned her if she will get back with Jam Ignacio and push through with the wedding.
