This is the reaction of DJ Jellie Aw to the public apology of Jam Ignacio.
After Jam Ignacio stepped forward to apologize, DJ Jellie Aw has this response to the begging he did publicly.
Forgiving is not synonymous with forgetting. One can forgive without forgetting and this is what fuels DJ Jellie to push through the complaints she filed against Jam Ignacio who beat her inside a car and left her traumatized and damaged. She and her family were deeply affected by what had happened.
Ignacio said in his apology to DJ Jellie, “Sorry sa mga nangyari. Pinapangako ko sa’yo na hindi na mauulit ‘to. Sana bigyan mo ng pagkakataon na ayusin natin to pareho ng pribado na sa’ting dalawa.”
Previously, DJ Jellie filed a complaint against Ignacio but the latter wanted an out-of-court settlement. On top of this, despite admitting to mauling the female club DJ, he still wanted to settle down with her and wed her. He still desires to continue their relationship and achieve their plans.
However, Jellie had learned the hard way.
In a recent interview, she expressed that there will be no wedding. She is firm in teaching him a lesson for what he. She said, “Wala nang kasal na magaganap.”
According to her, she could not give this man a chance as this would also allow him to do what he has already done. She recognized the cycle it would be if she did it. She can’t be at peace in being with him knowing that whenever he loses control over his emotions, he might do it again. There’s a possibility that she would suffer from the physical trauma again or even worse.
To her family, especially her mother, she assured them that she would continue to fight. She is determined to give him a lesson and she wants him accountable for what he did to her.
