Rita Daniela shared an update after a challenging 2024
Kapuso singer-actress Rita Daniela spoke about the “trauma” she acquired after her issue with her Widow’s War co-star Archie Alemania.
To recall the issue between them started when Rita filed acts of lasciviousness complaint against Archie after he allegedly harassed her during a party organized by Bea Alonzo for the cast of their series.
Rita accused Archie of saying inappropriate words to her and that he insisted on kissing her when he brought her home.
In a recent interview for 9 Works Theatrical musical Liwanag Sa Dilim in which Rita Daniela is one of the cast members, based on the article in ABS-CBN, the singer-actress was asked about the issue she had with Archie Alemania.
She admitted that it really affected her but she does not want to talk about this, especially since there is an ongoing case. However, she accepted the fact that everything happened for a reason.
On the other hand, she said that she has become more careful now around her co-stars. She also said that she was traumatized by what she experienced.
“I have to say mas guarded na ako, a bit. I try my very best to still act the same but siyempre hindi mo na yun maaalis sa akin na siyempre may trauma pa rin yan eh. So I just have to really be guarded and be more mindful and really choose the people that I open up to and that I talk to,” Rita said.
Meanwhile, one thing that keeps Rita Daniela going is her son. She admitted that songs hit differently now, especially during dramatic scenes after she became a mother.
The singer-actress shared that it is easier for her now to relate herself to a song ang give the needed emotion. “Naisip ko talaga na ang daming units na pumapasok sa isipan at puso ko. Malaking bagay,” Rita added.
