In a new video, Iya Villania shares the story of how she birthed her 5th baby.
Kapuso host Iya Villania amazed everyone after sharing how she easily gave birth to her fifth child, Anya Love.
Celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano have welcomed their fifth child named Anya Love Villania-Arellano. She was born on February 11, 2025, at 10:52 AM. After 11 years of being together as a married couple, they were blessed with five children with Iya giving birth to Anya unmedicated.
In a previous article, Iya opened up about her 5th pregnancy’s struggles, and according to her, it was more challenging compared to the previous pregnancies she’s had.
“There were fears that creep into my head na like your body might take things differently, if it’s gonna be harder, it might be well I am already at high risk because I am past 35 and once you’re past 35, high-risk ka na,” Iya explained.
In a new video she shared, she narrated what they went through before she gave birth. Iya shared that for the first time, she has experienced prodromal labor, a type of “false labor contraction”. She has experienced this a couple of times as she approached her due date.
On February 11, she experienced the same thing, and thinking that it was just another false labor contraction, she didn’t mind it. She waited to have other signs such as water breaking, bleeding, or stronger contractions but her husband had doubts.
She listened to him and it was a good thing she did as that time, it was already the real thing. When they arrived at the hospital, she was already at 6 cm dilation and 60% effaced. On their way to the delivery room, her water broke.
In the video, she was seen sitting at the center of the bed and easily gave birth to Anya Love. A few minutes after she expressed that she could already feel and her head, she came out with ease, and as for the mom, she was amazing.
People online commended how smoothly the birthing came out that it made some of them want to give birth as well.
