Disc jockey Jellie Aw answered a comment saying “kala nya ata naka jackpot sya,” after her issue with her fiance Jam Ignacio.
Jellie and Jam went viral before Valentine’s Day because of a mauling incident. The DJ accused her fiance of physical abuse. Jellie showed her beaten-up face with cuts and bruises.
Jam, the ex-boyfriend of Queen Mother Karla Estrada, received bashing from the online community because of what happened.
Although Jellie Aw received sympathy from many netizens, including the women’s rights group Gabriela, some netizens still had negative comments on social media.
