Last year, the award-winning actress nicknamed Ate Vi in showbiz, decided to return to politics. She filed her certificate of candidacy for governor and her running mate is her eldest son Luis Manzano while her youngest Ryan Rector is running for congressman of the 6th District of Batangas.

“We are here to serve and people will judge us. That’s all,” the actress said calmly. Luis seconded his mother’s point of view. She is just focusing on the good side of politics which is the fulfillment that she feels for serving her constituents.
