Eugene Domingo Reflects on 8-Year College Journey: ‘Gusto ko talagang makatapos ng kolehiyo’
EUGENE DOMINGO – In her latest vlog, Eugene Domingo opens up about her 8-year college journey, sharing how her dedication to completing her education shaped her perspective on life and success.
Eugene Domingo, known for her comedic brilliance, recently revealed a personal milestone that stands out in her life—completing her college education. In her first YouTube vlog, where she answered the most searched questions about her, Eugene proudly shared, “Kung meron akong desisyon sa buhay na never kong pinagsisihan is ‘yung tinapos ko ‘yung education ko.”
Eugene reflected on her time in college, revealing that it took her eight years to complete her degree. “I spent eight years, I think, in college. I finished Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts sa University of the Philippines-Diliman. Yes, nag-overstay ako. Ang sarap sa university e,” she said with a playful tone. She humorously admitted to overstaying in university, but she found her college experience to be fulfilling.
Eugene Domingo also shared that her college journey was spent across two institutions: the University of the Philippines-Diliman, where she earned her degree, and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Eugene explained her decision to attend state universities, saying, “Mahilig talaga ako sa state university. Ayoko talagang gumastos masyado ‘pag nag-aaral lalo na nung college kasi wala naman talaga akong pambayad.”
Despite the financial struggles, she emphasized her desire to finish her studies and earn a diploma.

She recently starred in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry And The Breadwinner Is…, where she worked once again with Vice Ganda. In a previous interview, Eugene expressed how their connection was renewed after more than a decade, describing the experience as something unforgettable. She commended Vice’s dedication to the film, noting that despite initial doubts, he gave his all to the project.
The film also brought new energy to their dynamics as co-actors, with Eugene praising the refreshing chemistry that added something exciting to their collaboration. Eugene’s career continues to soar, and her personal journey serves as an inspiring testament to perseverance and hard work.
