Seth Fedelin received this recognition as an actor
Kapamilya actor Seth Fedelin shared his thoughts on winning the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Breakthrough Performance Award last year.
Seth is one of the in-demand actors of his generation. He has done a lot of projects with his onscreen partner Francine Diaz. Together, they are known as the FranSeth tandem. The most recent project that they did together was the movie My Future You.
Through this movie, Seth was able to win his first MMFF award. He was hailed as the Breakthrough Performance award during the Gabi ng Parangal.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Seth Fedelin was asked about this recognition. He said that he did not expect this award.
The actor also shared that he had a delayed reaction to the award he received. “It was a delayed reaction — maybe when I got home, that’s when I felt it, that’s when I held the trophy. So this is how it feels to have your work recognized, to have your talent noticed,” he said.
Seth shared that his family celebrated his win. When he got home, his mom and the rest of their family were waiting for him because they wanted to hold his trophy.
“When I arrived, my favorite food was already prepared. We just ate together and reminisced about our past life experiences. I was truly so happy,” the actor shared.
Before their movie My Future You, Seth Fedelin shared that he and his loveteam partner Francine Diaz were saying what would be their next project and they did not lose hope. Then, this movie was offered to them.
“We really waited until ‘My Future You’ came along. While we were shooting it (‘My Future You’), we told ourselves, ‘This is where people will truly see us’,” Seth Fedelin shared.
